About

Buffalo Wings & Brewhouse is a go-to spot for craft beer lovers and foodies alike. We offer a rotating selection of 16 local craft beers and ciders on tap, along with a variety of bottled beers and wines. Our beer list always includes a lager, pilsner, IPA’s, a red or brown ale, wheat beer stouts, fruit beer plus at least 3 fruit ciders. We also make sure we have a variety of ABV levels, going from 4% to 10%, so you can pick the beer that fits your needs!

Our menu features a range of pub classics, including Buffalo wings in your choice of buffalo sauce, mambo sauce, or smoked paprika rub, along with smash burgers, personal pizzas, and roast beef on weck, fresh-
cut fries, pizza logs, cauliflower wings, chips with hummus, and more. The lively atmosphere is elevated by live music performances, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy great food and drinks with friends and family.

Stop in and we’ll pour a sample from our taps!

History

When we opened in the fall of 2019, we were proud to realize we’d stepped into a family tradition started by our great grandfather. At the turn of the century before last, Herman Schroeder ran a tavern eight blocks away. The corner where it stood at East Avenue and Oliver is an empty patch of grass and the Buffalo Bolt factory that stood behind it is gone, too. Yet Schroeder’s legacy of entrepreneurship carries on in our new, 21st century family-run business: The Bille family behind this new venture has a mission to create a relaxing and inspiring environment to share good times with friends and neighbors, new and old. We spent two years renovating an abandoned deli building — Best Taste Mini Market — with century-old roots. We want to know more about the history we found in the walls: like sausage packing crates from Poland, now in a mosaic pattern at the bar and a vintage photo of a girl in old-fashioned finery who is now framed and on the wall.

Come see. Share what you know of Oliver Street’s history.

Our People

Matt Bille

Matt Bille

Owner

Matt Bille, the owner and founder, is a North Tonawanda native who had a career as a retail manager. He took his experience, his curiosity about the growing local craft beer movement and created Buffalo Wings and Brewhouse with his two sons. This followed two years of renovations of this corner store building, about a 100-years old, abandoned and foreclosed for almost a decade. It was last known as the beloved neighborhood deli the “Bestaste Mini Market.” (photo credit: Twin City Sun)
